Vitellius, 69. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.26 g, 6 h), Rome, late April-20 December 69. A VITELLIVS GERM IMP AVG TR P Laureate head of Vitellius to right. Rev. XV VIR SACR FAC Tripod with covered vessel; above, dolphin to right; between tripod legs, raven standing right. BMC 39. Cohen 111. RIC 109. A clear and lightly toned example with an excellent portrait. Thin flan crack and with very light deposits on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
